Le Monsieur de la Petite Dame edition by Frances Hodgson Burnett Reference eBooks
Probably constituted as one of Burnett's minor works, I enjoyed period atmosphere and interest in female/male relationships. Ifound the ending to be quite "bruising", as I'm sure it was intended to be!

Le Monsieur de la Petite Dame edition by Frances Hodgson Burnett Reference eBooks Reviews
5-Stars Rating the Edition, in which type size is not an issue. Another great, unpredictable, love story from Francis Hodgson Burnett.
The book was sent promptly. My only disappointment with the service was in the actual printing. The cover was extremely unattractive, but I could live with that. What I was truly not happy with was the tiny, light-colored print. This was NOT a large book. It would have been perfectly practical to use a larger font, and I see NO reason that a good, dark font could not be used. I would have reservations about ordering another reprint from this publisher unless it was a book I fervently wanted.
The story itself was quite sentimental in a way that I believe was more popular long ago. I did not care for it. I doubt very much that I will bother to reread it.
